There have been several very successful street parties in recent years, all held in the High Street in Nash,
A committee has been formed from volunteers from both Nash and Whaddon to organise another event, to celelbrate the Queen's jubilee. The committee is chaired by Nick Kamm, (Chair of Nash Village Hall.) Tel: 01908 501723 or e-mail nick@k4mms.com
The committee are progressing well with the arrangements, and a Band (The Red Bullets) has already been booked. Discussions with food providers is also well under way, and plans for other entertainment are advancing rapidly. It is hoped that, like last time, the event will start mid afternoon, and go on till late, with entertainment for all ages! It will again be based on the Nash High Street, and will be only be open to residents of both Nash and Whaddon, with their friends, by advance ticket only.
Further details will be made available as they are finalised, but in the meantime Put the date in your diary!
