The deeds of Nash Village Hall state "The property shall be held upon trust for the purpose of a Village Hall for the use of the inhabitants of Nash and the neighbourhood without distinction of sex or of political opinions, and in particular for use for meetings, lectures and classes, and for other forms of recreation and leisure-time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants". Original architect's plans (1855) can be viewed here.
In effect, Nash Village Hall is owned by the Villagers of Nash. It is administered by The Nash Village Hall Management Committee (NVHMC) whose members are elected at the Annual General Meeting normally held in May.
Current Committee members include Nick Kamm (Chair), June Horne (Secretary), John Southby (Treasurer), Len York, Jean Driver, Evelyn Chapman, Margaret Morgan, Sandra Firth & Barbara Loxton.

Many of the social events held in Nash are organised by the NVHMC, partly to raise money to run and maintain the Village Hall and partly to act as an opportunity for Villagers to meet and share village life.
Nash Village Hall has a new kitchen, dimmable mood lighting, stage lighting (conditions apply), tv and dvd/blu-ray equipment and disabled toilets. An annex provides storage space and space for activities involving a small number of people.
.On 29th April the Village Hall social committee organised a very successful 'Royal Wedding Party.' This was enjoyed by nearly 100 people, who watched the event on the large screen, and then enjoyed some excellent food. Many came dressed up for the occasion!
