17/10/2005 - Trick or Treat posters / Door-to-door sales

Halloween is coming soon, and with it the recent tradition of Trick or Treat. Thames Valley Police have produced a poster Trick or Treat – do not disturb suitable for displaying on your front door or window. If you would like one, call Adrian or download a copy from the TVP website (www.thamesvalley.police.uk).

Beware of door-to-door sales people who travel from other areas to sell various goods, and who may try and trick their way into homes and steal. Police have asked for information (e.g. person descriptions, logos, car number plates, etc.) Call 08458 505 505. Remember the drill when answering the door: Stop – Chain – Check.
